I'm Andrea Turini, CPA and founder of Andrea Turini Accounting Services. I specialize in helping growing businesses clean up their books, build better systems, and make smarter financial decisions — without the drag of bloated processes or unclear reporting.

In 2024, I transitioned into consulting to work more directly with leadership teams who need practical, senior-level finance help. I work with growing companies and nonprofits who are ready to:

More Than a Technician

I’ve not only done the hands-on work — I’ve led the teams. I bring the experience of a corporate controller with the mindset of a builder. My clients get efficient, scalable solutions grounded in execution, not theory. I meet clients where they are — whether that’s buried in spreadsheets or halfway through a systems change — and tailor my approach to fit their workflows and team dynamics. The goal isn’t to force a rigid process, but to build something that actually works.

On a Personal Note

I’m based in Minnesota and work with clients both locally and remotely. My lap-cat Walter will likely make a cameo on any video call. Outside of work, I run a small jewelry business and spend as much time as I can riding my horse through Minnesota’s beautiful parks.

From Wall Street to Main Street

I began my career at PwC in New York, auditing major banks — primarily Goldman Sachs. From there, I moved into financial reporting and technical accounting for public companies, including Prospect Capital and IFF, where I led systems implementations, managed external audits, financial valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury functions.

In 2020, I joined DigitalOcean to build their corporate accounting and financial reporting function in preparation for IPO. There were no technical accounting processes in place — I led the creation of everything from the ground up. That meant translating complex business activity into GAAP, developing accounting policies, designing internal controls, and managing the external audit process under intense public-company scrutiny. I owned the process end-to-end, leading a team while still doing the critical hands-on work needed to get it right.
